Quality, Safety and Environment

1. POLICY
   
   The Company safety policy stated below makes four fundamental points.
   
   A The safety of employees is paramount
   B Every effort will be made to reduce the possibility of accident
   C Safety will take precedence over expediency
   D Safety legislation applicable to particular workplaces will be complied with
   
   POLICY STATEMENT
   
   The promotion of safety and health measures is regarded as a mutual objective for management and employees at all levels.
   
   
2. ASSIGNMENT OF RESPONSIBILITY
   

   Management is ultimately responsible for the application of Company Health and Safety Policy and the achievement of its objectives.

   It delegates its authority to its employees as stated below and defining the responsibility for which they will be held accountable.
   
   
3. All Employees are held accountable at law not to commit acts in breach of legislation and they should not wilfully, and without reasonable cause, do anything likely to endanger themselves or others.
   
   All Employees should:-
   
   
   • Conform to rules and procedures regarding safe working.
   • Find out what safe operating procedures and instructions apply in any work place and on any job, to which they may be allocated.
   • Report unsafe plant, tools and equipment and unsafe practices, methods of work and any other hazards to Supervision.
   • Use correct methods of work and not improvise by using methods, tools or equipment which entail unnecessary risks.
   • Assist in the maintenance of good housekeeping standards.
   • Co-operate in the work of safety committee and in inspection of work place.
   • Assist in the investigation of accidents which occur.
   • Wear and use the necessary protective clothing and equipment as specified.
     
     
4. New-tonne-Lifting Services Limited is committed to the protection of the natural environment and accepts th
   at it shares in the responsibility for the protection of the natural environment. New-tonne Lifting Services Limited will sustain a progress of improvements to reduce waste out-put and to manage its waste products.
   
   
5. New-tonne Lifting Services Limited will operate in line with its ISO9002 quality system.
   
   
6. New-tonne Lifting Services Limited recognises the importance of continual commitment of all employees in the achievement of high levels of performance in quality, safety, health and environmental protection. New-tonne Lifting Services Limited will provide all its employees with any information, training and support to continually achieve these high levels.
   
   
7. New-tonne Lifting Services Limited understands and believes that compliance with the above is essential to the Companys’ well being and continued growth. Therefore the appropriate resources shall be directed towards its objectives.
   
   
8. The overall responsibility for this Policy is with myself as Managing Director.
   
   The authority to meet the objectives is delegated to the Company Employees when carrying out their duties.
